SchoolMessenger for OneSchool - North America Parents/Guardians


SchoolMessenger is the mass notification system used by OneSchool - North America. With an account, you can review

recent voice, text, and e-mail messages sent by the school or NSO, manage your contact preferences, and set your

phone and mobile devices to display notices when new communications arrive. You will need a valid email address

associated with your child’s school record.



From a Desktop Computer:

Step 1 - Enter the following URL in your web browser: go.schoolmessenger.com

Step 2 - Click Sign Up in the right side of the screen.

Step 3 - Enter your primary email address on file at your child’s school and create a password. An email will be sent to that address with a secure token. If you get any errors such as “No Associations Found” while signing up, please contact the school to confirm/update your email address.


IMPORTANT:  The Sign Up page will ask for a Location, please make sure this is set to United States, since our account for SchoolMessenger is based out of the United States.


Step 4 - After authenticating via the token sent to your email, return and Sign In using your email and password.  This credential can also be used for the Android/IOS app.


After signing in, the Messages menu is displayed. You can hover over your name to navigate to the Preferences menu. This allows you to choose the notification preferences (email, phone, text) for the various types of broadcasts (see the complete list on page 2).


For student safety, at least one phone number is required for School Hours Emergency and Non School Hours Emergency messages. You will receive an error if you attempt to remove all phone numbers associated with these message types.


From a Mobile Device:

Find and download the SchoolMessenger app in the iPhone App Store or Google Play store for Android devices. Once

the app is downloaded, tap the Sign Up link, and follow Step 3 and 4 from the desktop instructions above.
